Alessio Petillo, Naples, born in 1994. Illustrator and cartoonist. After graduating from the Art School of Naples, he attended and completed the three-year course in comics and digital coloring at the Italian School of Comix in Naples. With the aforementioned school he collaborated on the creation of the comic “Le avventure di Neo” (Melanoma Foundation). He then drew episode 4 of “Sette Sigilli” for Cagliostro E-Press. In 2022 he worked on a comic dedicated to the life of the singer Enrico Caruso (Guida editore - Associazione Scarlatti - Naples) and at the same time on the third volume of the comic book: “La Divina Congrega” (Sergio Bonelli Editore). He then drew the series “Savage Red Sonja” written by Dan Panosian (Dynamite Entertainment). In 2024 he also created illustrations dedicated to the connection between the myths of Magna Graecia and comic book superheroes for the archaeological parks of Crotone and Sibari through the comic book museum of Cosenza. The latest work saw the artist engaged on the pencils and inks of the graphic novel “The Pumpkin Queen”, sequel to the film “Nightmare before Christmas” (Dynamite Entertainment/Disney).
