Lorenza Di Sepio
Lorenza Di Sepio, born in 1983, began her creative career in 2006 as a 2D animation designer, contributing to animated television series (including productions for RAI), music videos, and commercial spots as a character designer and storyboard artist. Drawing on her visual storytelling experience, she co-created Simple & Madama, a popular social media and publishing project detailing the humorous daily life of a couple. The property has expanded to include over eleven graphic novels, a five-issue newsstand magazine run, and extensive content creation for film, gaming, and comic brand partnerships. She also specializes in children's and middle-grade graphic novels. Alongside her partner and collaborator Marco Barretta, she won the Best Children's Comic Award at the Treviso Comic Book Festival. Her work in youth publishing includes the Da Paura series—which reimagines classic literature through a comedic lens for young readers—as well as standalone graphic novels published in Italy and internationally through French publishers Jungle and Dupuis.
