Gianpiero Chionna
Gianpiero Chionna, born in Lecce in 1977. Comic book artist and illustrator. Law degree from the University of Salento. Drawer for Auzou for the Loup and P'tit Loup book series Author for Round Robin of the graphic novel "Ventotene - Il viaggio di Ursula vero Europa" (2021) He has collaborated and illustrated for: Corriere della Sera (7 magazine), Flop Magazine, La Mantice magazine, GUS, Festival del cinema del reale, Wow spazio fumetto, Just Kids magazine, Rockit.it, Liber Magazine, Il Sostenibile, Labo fumetto, Quink, V4V records. Course coordinator for the Comics and Illustration Course of Stazione 47 Academy. Comics teacher at: Stazione 47, Lo zainetto dei saperi, Cooperativa Rinascita, Associazione Kora. Library Presidency Association Member of the Sbucciaginocchi collective with which he published the anthology Carta Vetrata Vol.I - Il tema delle elementari (2015) and Carta Vetrata vol. II - Soft porn (2016) and volume Fiabe Nere (2018). He participated in the Biennale Marte Live 2014 - comics section, selected by the Artistic Director Marco Corona (Coconino press, Rizzoli Lizard, 001). Winner of the competition "Two tales of the moon" (judges Salvatore Giommaresi, Antonella Selva, Ayoub Abid) with the short story “La vita Normale”. Winner of the jury prize (Alessandro Apreda, Elena Di Galli, Marcello Durante, MicheleFidati, Ivano Garofalo, Mirko Oliveri, Pierluigi Rota) of talent/competition ComixFactor with the graphic novel "Domani".
